The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

September 2011 Chemist Licensure Examination results released in two (2) days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 331 out of 630 passed the Chemist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemistry in Manila this September 2011.

The members of the Board of Chemistry are Ms. Adoracion P. Resurreccion, Chairman and Ms. Soledad S. Castañeda, Member.

The results were released in two (2) days after the last day of examination.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on September 28, 2011 but not later than October 12, 2011. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The successful examinees are advised to verify from the PRC website on the announcement of oathtaking rite’s schedules, venues, etc.
