The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

November 2016 Geologists Licensure Examination

Manila, November 8, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with the Board of Geology will conduct the Board Licensure Examination for Geologists for three hundred ninety seven (397) examinees in Manila on November 8 (Tuesday), 9 (Wednesday) & 10 (Thursday), 2016.

Room assignments can be accessed through this LINK. Visiting the assigned school/building for environment and transport familiarization is recommended.

Examinees are advised to report at their designated rooms before 6:30 in the morning. Late examinees will not be admitted to take the Examination.

On examination day, please bring your Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt, pencils no. 1 or 2, black ball pen, metered-stamped window mailing envelope, long brown and long plastic envelopes. Examinees must follow the prescribed dress code to wear plain white polo shirts with collar and decent pants or slacks.

On the second day of the examination, examinees must bring hand lens, streak plate, hand magnet, etch for rocks and minerals identification. On the third day of the examination they must have a protractor scale or protractor and ruler and magnifying glass.
