The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

The Fourth AQRF Committee Meeting and NQF Phase IV Workshop

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), represented by Hon. Melinda L. Garcia, Member of the National Referencing Committee and Member of the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Dentistry, attended the 4th ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework (AQRF) Committee Meeting held last 14-16 May 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The said meeting was organized by the Office of the Education Council, Ministry of Education of Thailand in coordination with the ASEAN Secretariat supported by the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA) Economic Cooperation Support Program (AESCSP). It served as an opportunity for the members of the Committee to discuss and exchange views on the completion of the Referencing Report necessary to commence the referencing process of the ASEAN Member States’ NQFs or qualifications systems to the AQRF.
