MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) successfully conducted the Virtual Oath-Taking Ceremony for the newly appointed Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, and Members of the Career Progression and Specialization Program – Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (CPSP-CATS) Committees on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

The PRC extends its heartfelt congratulations to the newly designated officials of the CPSP-CATS Committees under various Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs). The following appointments and designations were officially recognized:

The Oath of Office was administered by Mr. L. Louis P. Valera, PRC Assistant Commissioner and Oversight for CPSP-CATS. The ceremony was witnessed by Hon. Melinda L. Garcia, Program Manager of the CPSP-CATS Program Management Committee (PMC) and Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Dentistry (PRB-DNT), who also delivered the opening remarks.

Hon. Cecilia Herras-Tence, Vice Program Manager of the CPSP-CATS PMC and Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Landscape Architecture (PRB-OLA), likewise joined the ceremony and delivered the closing remarks. The event was organized and facilitated by the CPSP-CATS Secretariat, headed by Ms. Marie Cecille P. Fernando.

This significant event underscores the PRC’s continuing commitment to promote lifelong learning and strengthen the professional advancement of Filipino practitioners through the CPSP-CATS framework.
