CPSP-CATS Technology Cluster held its 2nd Meeting
MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Career Progression and Specialization Program – Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (CPSP-CATS) Technology Cluster successfully held its second meeting on Thursday, 24 April 2025, at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) Central Office Morayta, Sampaloc, Manila.
Presided by Assistant Commissioner and Oversight for CPSP-CATS, Mr. Lord Louis P. Valera, together with Vice Program Manager of the CPSP-CATS Program Management Committee (PMC), Hon. Cecilia Herras-Tence, the second meeting was also attended by the newly designated Chairperson of the Technology Cluster, Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz, and CPSP-CATS Consultant, Ms. Perla Gonzales-Po.
With the knowledge and expertise of the participating Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) from the Technology Cluster and the CPSP-CATS Committee, the meeting provided a vital platform for comprehensive updates, focusing on the formulation of career progression frameworks and the development of implementing guidelines for each identified CPSP. Fostering the exchange of valuable insights, shared accomplishments, and outlined strategic directions to ensure the seamless and effective rollout of specialized career pathways for Filipino professionals, the continuing dialogues underscore the Cluster’s steadfast commitment to nurturing excellence, enhancing professional mobility, and building a future-ready Filipino workforce. As the CPSP-CATS continues to take shape, it paves the way for a transformative period in professional development—one where every step forward is a step toward progress.
With continued collaboration and shared commitment, the CPSP-CATS Technology Cluster is steadily laying the foundation for a more dynamic and forward-looking professional landscape. This initiative not only champions the growth of individual practitioners but also fuels the nation’s progress.
