Urdaneta City, Pangasinan – The Professional Criminologist Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Region I Chapter successfully hosted the oath taking ceremony for more or less eight hundred (800) new Criminologists, on 05 March 2023, at Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center, Urdaneta City Pangasinan.

Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman of the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology, administered the Oath of Profession and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the inductees. Hon. Warren M. Corpuz, Member of the PRB of Criminology, on the other hand conducted the charging of the newly Registered Criminologists.

Meanwhile, Atty. Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo, Regional Director of PRC Region I, announced that there will be four (4) venues for Criminologists Licensure Examination (CLE) this 2023, namely: Rosales Pangasinan, Bayambang Pangasinan, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and Candon City, Ilocos Sur.

Along with the passers with exemplary performance in the region, Mr. Joshua L. Manipud, who placed ninth on the December 2022 CLE, was recognized.

The said event was attended by the PRB of Criminology Chairperson, Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, PRB Member, Hon. Warren M. Corpuz, PRC Region I Regional Director Atty. Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo, PCAP National President Dr. Gerry J. Cano, PCAP Region I Governor Dr. Ambrosio P. Detran, PCAP Vice Governor for Internal Affairs Mr. Christopher P. Forayo, along with the Regional Officers of PCAP, deans and faculties of various universities and colleges in Ilocos Region, and PRC Regional Office I officers and employees.
