PRC and PICPA Sign MOA on ASEAN Monitoring Committee on Professional Accountancy Services of the Philippines

The Professional Regulation Commission, represented by its Chairman, Atty. Teofilo S. Pilando Jr., and the Philippines Institute of Certified Public Accountants, represented by its National President, Atty. Zenaida P. Alcantara, signed a Memorandum of Agreement on the establishment of the ASEAN Monitoring Committee on Professional Accountancy Services of the Philippines (AMCPASP) last 11 January 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.

ADVISORY: Power Interruption in PRC Central Office on March 17, 2018

Due to Electrical System maintenance, the PRC Central Office will experience a power interruption starting at 12 noon, today, March 17, 2018. The PRC website will also be temporarily down during the said maintenance.

The Power Supply and the PRC Website is expected to be restored at 3:00 pm, today.

March 2018 Physician Licensure Examination results released in three (3) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,067 out of 1,601 passed the Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Zamboanga this March 2018.

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eleanor J. Galvez, Chairman; Dr. Edgardo T. Fernando, Dr. Miguel L. Noche Jr., Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Ma. Graciela Garayblas-Gonzaga and Dr. Clarita C. Maaño, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the transfer of the Regulation Division-NCR to the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Vicente Sotto St., Pasay, Metro Manila effective Friday, March 9, 2018.

PRC offices located at PICC are the following:

PRC Signs Memorandum of Agreement with Various Schools and Universities

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), together with different Schools and Universities in Manila and selected provinces, signed a Memorandum of Agreement to use their facilities as testing centers during various licensure examinations. This is to extend and widen the reach of the Commission in the accommodation and security of examinees in different parts of the country. Terms and conditions that were mutually agreed upon by both parties were included in the MOA for a transparent, fair and secure partnership.

Schedule for the Oath Taking Ceremonies of New Professional Mechanical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics

The Oath Taking Ceremonies for the passers of the February 2018 Licensure Examination for Professional Mechanical Engineers (PMEs), Mechanical Engineers (MEs) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPMs) will be held on Saturday, 24 March 2018, 1:00 pm at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center, CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.

Inductees are required to come in formal attire.

 

 

 

Establishment of the Professions’ Learning Outcomes for Relevant Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) Levels

The Professional Regulation Commission conducted a series of consultative meetings with various Professional Regulatory Boards and their stakeholders in the creation of a specific language of learning outcomes for relevant Philippine Qualification Framework (PQF) levels.

The PQF is a quality-assured national policy system for the development, recognition and award of qualifications and is based on standards of knowledge, skills and values acquired in different ways and methods by learners and workers.

March 2018 Pharmacist Licensure Examination Results released in two (2) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,695 out of 3,039 passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Zamboanga this March 2018.

The members of the Board of Pharmacy who gave the licensure examination are Ms. Adelina C. Royo, Chairman; Dr. Mildred B. Oliveros and Mr. Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago, Members.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

ADVISORY: Renewal of Professional Identification Card at PICC Starting On MARCH 06, 2018

Starting March 06, 2018 (Tuesday) onwards, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Central Office will move the processing of Renewal of Professional Identification Card at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.

 

To Renew the Professional Identification Card (PIC), applicants must log on to online.prc.gov.ph choose PICC as your appointment place, and pay at the accredited payment channels in your area.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that APPLICATION FOR LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS will be accepted at the Professional Regulation Commission - PICC Office starting on Monday, March 5, 2018.

Applicants may file and submit their documents at the PRC Office located at the Entrance Foyer, Ground Floor, Secretariat Building, Philippine International Convention Center, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
