PRC Advisory on Special Oathtaking

Following the recent declaration of State of Public Health Emergency under Proclamation No. 922 (s.2020) throughout the Philippines, the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) over the entire Luzon, the Local  Enhanced, General or Strict Community Quarantine in various localities in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, and the previous postponements of all March and April 2020 Mass Oathtakings, please be advised that all confirmed Special Oathtakings are hereby deferred and shall be re-scheduled immediately after the ECQ.

Advisory: Rescheduling of the Approved CPD Programs

In view of the imposition of the Enhanced Community Quarantine and Stringent Physical Distancing Measures over the entire Luzon and other Local Government Units in the country, thereby bringing to halt all CPD offerings, CPD programs will be rescheduled accordingly.

CPD providers are required to manifest their request in writing to the concerned CPD Council prior to the offering of the program.

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 922 dated 8 March 2020 declaring a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines, the Enhanced Community Quarantine imposed over the entire Luzon, and the declared Local Community Quarantine by some of the Local Government Units in the Visayas and Mindanao regions,the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the  public that,the validity of the Professional Identification Card (PICs) of all professionals expiring during the period of community quarantine is extended until the lifting of the community quarantine period.

Pursuant to the Enhanced Community Quarantine declared over the entire Luzon, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) adopts a work-from-home arrangement and skeletal workforce whenever appropriate, until April 12, 2020 or upon the lifting of the Enhanced Community Quarantine Period.

With the recent Presidential declaration of Luzon-wide "Enhanced Community Quarantine",  services in all PRC offices within Luzon is suspended beginning March 17 until April 12.

Appointments set from March 17 to April 12 shall be accommodated upon resumption of operation on 13 April.

 

PRC Operates Under Skeletal Workforce as Gov’t Imposes Community Quarantine in Metro Manila

As President Rodrigo Roa Duterte announced on Thursday, March 12, 2020, the imposition of Community Quarantine in Metro Manila, calling for the creation of skeletal workforces for offices under the executive branch, the offices of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) within the Natonal Capital Region (NCR), will be temporarily operating with a skeletal workforce from March 16 until April 14, 2020.

Deadlines for the Filing of Applications for Licensure Examinations are Extended

Following the earlier postponements of the scheduled licensure examinations by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), please be advised that all deadlines initially set from March 16, 2020 to April 14, 2020, for the filing of applications for licensure examination, are extended until further notice.

All concerned are advised to wait for further announcements on the new schedule of deadlines, to be posted on the PRC website and/or social media accounts.
