The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at:

All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Suspension of Services in PRC Off-Site Service Centers in Robinsons Place Novaliches and Galleria, Ortigas and PRC Lucena on 19 August 2019

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the temporary suspension of services in PRC Off-site Service Centers in Robinsons Place Novaliches and Galleria, Ortigas and its Regional Office in Lucena on 19 August 2019 (Monday), in commemoration of the birth anniversary of former President Manuel L. Quezon.

This is pursuant to Republic Act No. 6741, “An Act declaring August 19 of each year a special working holiday throughout the entire Philippines and a special non-working public holiday in the provinces of Quezon and Aurora and Quezon City, to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President Manuel L. Quezon”.

The said off-site service centers will resume their operations on 20 August 2019 (Tuesday) while the Regional Office in Lucena will be on 22 August 2019 (Thursday). 

Appointments set on the said date are still valid and will be entertained upon resumption of operations.
