The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Skeletal force to serve PRC counters on May 26 (Monday)

Manila, May 21, 2014 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that in view of the deployment of (majority of) PRC’s personnel in the conduct of the nationwide Nurses Licensure Examination, a skeletal force will serve the PRC clientele at the Central Office including the PRC Service Centers at SM Novaliches, SM South Mall and SM San Lazaro on Monday, May 26, 2014.

The PRC will conduct the Nurses Licensure Exam to 29,877 examinees on May 25 (Sunday) and May 26 (Monday) in testing centers which includes Manila, all PRC Regional Offices (excluding PRC Tacloban Regional Office), and the cities of Zamboanga, Angeles, Cabanatuan, Dagupan, Laoag and Bacolod.
