The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Reminder to all Accredited CPD Providers

Manila, April 6, 2017 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reminds all Accredited CPD Providers that the actual number of Credit Units can be finally earned after the submission of the Monitoring Report by the designated CPD Monitor.

As stated in Section 8.2.6, Rule III of PRC Resolution No. 1032, Series of 2017 or the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of R.A. No. 10912, which provides for the Suspension, Cancellation, and Non-Renewal of Accreditation as CPD Provider, specifically paragraph (d), Misrepresentation, such as but not limited to: submission of false completion reports, issuance of false statement/s including disclosing advance information as to credit units prior to the approval of the CPD Council, or qualifications/s as provider.
