The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Manila, September 9, 2014 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the program of the Architect licensure exam in Riyadh and Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and Doha, Qatar on October 3 and 4, 2014 as follows:

Applicants for Architect licensure exam are likewise informed on the following general instructions:

  1. Confirmed applicants will pay the examination fee of US $40.00 and PhP21.00 for documentary stamps. The Notice of Admission will be issued at the testing centers;
  2. Bring original documents for final evaluation and 4 pieces passport size pictures with nametag;
  3. Bring the following on examination day:
    1. Two or more pencils (No.1 or 2)
    2. Ballpens with BLACK ink only
    3. One piece long brown envelope
    4. One piece long transparent/plastic envelope
    5. Non-programmable calculator
  4. On the second day (October 4, 2014), every candidate is required to bring to the examination room architect scales (English and Metric Scales), 30x60 and 45 degree triangles, protractors, non-programmable calculator, pencils, drawing pens, erasers, graphed paper and other tools for sketching purposes;
  5. Copies of Rules VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of P.D. 1096 (1977 National Building Code of the Philippines/NBCP, as downloaded only from the PRBOA website (www.architectureboard.ph), Latest publication section may be used during the exam (open books);
  6. The following are STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the examination premises/rooms:
    1. Books, notes, review materials and other printed materials containing coded data/information/ formula
    2. Programmable Calculators
    3. Cellular Phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, and other electronic gadgets
    4. Bags of any kind (place your documents inside the transparent/plastic envelope)
    5. Other examination aides not stated on the program shall not be brought inside the examination building.
