The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC Offices Observes Special Non-Working Days on December 26, 2016 and January 2, 2017

Manila, December 19, 2016 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the temporary suspension of services of all PRC Offices and Service Centers on December 26, 2016 and January 2, 2017, both falling on a Monday, in view of Presidential Proclamation No. 117 declaring December 26, 2016 and January 2, 2017 as special non-working days throughout the country.

Acting Executive Secretary Menardo I. Guevarra by authority of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte issued Proclamation No. 117 and stated that it is but fitting to give the people full opportunity to celebrate the holidays with their families and loved ones.

PRC Offices and Service Centers will resume operations on December 27 to 29, 2016 and January 3, 2017.
