The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

May 2016 Board Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountant (BLECPA) moved

Manila, January 12, 2015 --- The Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy announce that the Board Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountant scheduled on MAY 8, 9, 15 and 16, 2016 is moved to MAY 11, 12, 15 and 16, 2016.

This announcement was made to make way for this year’s National Elections to be held on May 9, 2016 giving our examinees and would-be professionals to freely exercise their right to suffrage.

The rescheduling of examination and the amendment of Resolution No. 948 are provided for under section 7 of Republic Act No. 8981, otherwise known as the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, series of 2015

Deadline for the filing of application for the examination is set on April 18, 2016.
