The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Licensure Examinations for Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians re-set to DECEMBER 13, 14 and 15, 2013

Manila, September 24, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission announces the rescheduling of the Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians licensure exam from October 18, 19 and 20, 2013 to DECEMBER 13, 14 and 15, 2013.

The licensure exam originally scheduled on October 2013 was indefinitely postponed due to the vacancies in the Professional Regulatory Board of Electronics Engineering and until the new members of the Board are appointed and qualified.

The new chairman and members of the Board of Electronics Engineering, in a meeting after being sworn into office last September 5, 2013, passed Resolution No. 8 dated September 16, 2013 to re-set the dates of the examination.

The Electronics Engineer and Electronics Technician licensure exam will be held simultaneously in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Lucena.
