The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Ateneo De Davao grad tops the May 2013 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam

Manila, May 28, 2013 --- An Ateneo De Davao University graduate, Richard Baguio Saavedra, placed first among the other 5,665 examinees who took the May 2013 Certified Public Accountant licensure examination by garnering a general average rating of 96%.

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 1,553 out of 5,665 passed the exams given by the Board of Accountancy simultaneously in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Legazpi.

University of San Carlos graduate Mikyll Hum Dalimot Narvios took the second spot with 95.43%, followed by University of Baguio graduate Tom Braian Aguilar who placed third by obtaining 94%.

De La Salle University - Manila was the top performing school with a 96.36% passing percentage.
