The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Board of Accountancy General Stakeholder's Consultation May 12

 

 

The Board of Accountancy (Board) earlier made an announcement to defer the implementation of paragraphs 13 and 14 (4) of Resolution No. 68-2016 in relation to Resolution No. 03-2016, as amended, on the requirement for the external auditor to notify the Board of any omission or non-compliance with the provisions therein set forth, until such mechanism shall have been established to monitor compliance therewith after consultation with relevant government agencies and other stakeholders.

 

 

 

In this regard, the Board shall hold a general stakeholders' consultation/dialogue on May 12, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the PRC Bulwagang Nubla. Interested parties may also submit their comments and concerns to the Office of the Secretary, PRBs via email add: prc.prbsec1@gmail.com
