Manila, Philippines — Focusing on monitoring the Professional Regulation Commission’s (PRC/Commission) performance and milestones to develop solutions and provide guidance in planning, organizing, and leading the agency in the fulfillment of its mandate to offer quality service to the clientele and stakeholders, the PRC 2022 Mid-year Performance Assessment (MYPA) and Re-Planning Conference was conducted on July 20-22, 2022 at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila City.
Day 1 of the three-day conference was a seminar-workshop on the review, updating, and enhancement of the Competitiveness Roadmaps (CRs) of various professions, a total of one hundred forty-six (146) Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and seventy-nine (79) representatives of Accredited Professional Organizations and Accredited Integrated Professional Organizations attended the said event.
The abovementioned seminar-workshop aimed at determining the national, regional, and international developments that may have a significant impact on Filipino professionals; analyze the policies, thrusts, and initiatives of the PRC on the developments and regulation of professions; and enhancement of the CRs by incorporating the recent trends and developments at the national, regional, and international levels.
Meanwhile, days 2 and 3 centered on panel discussions and lectures of designated speakers on important and urgent issues and concerns of the Commission. Each session in the panel discussion run for sixty (60) minutes, inclusive of the question-and-answer portion after the reaction of each of the panelists was delivered. A total of two hundred twenty-one (221) attendees from the Central and Regional Offices, PRBs, and Test Consultants participated in the said event.
