Manila. Philippines- The Ceremonial Signing of Deed of Usufruct between the Professional Regulation Commission- Regional Office XIII (PRC-ROXIII) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Butuan was held at the Hotel Oazis, Butuan City on August 16, 2022.

The parcel of land located at the D.O. Plaza Regional Center, Barangay Tiniwisan, Butuan City measures more or less one thousand (1000) square meters which will house the PRC-ROXIII’s four-storey building that can accommodate two hundred (200) examinees at most under the Computer Based Licensure Examinations program.

Present during the Ceremonial Signing were PRC Chairman Teofilo S. Pilando, Jr., PRC Commissioner Hon. Erwin M. Enad, PRC-ROXIII Director Cheryll P. Elicano, Butuan City Vice-Mayor Lawrence Lemuel H. Fortun, City Legal Officer Atty. Cisco Franz Maclang, District Officer Atty. William dela Cruz (representing 1st District Congressman Jose S. Aquino II), Department of Labor and Employment-Caraga OIC-ARD Raymond Fel Sajor, the Butuan City Sanguniang Panlungsod Members and various Barangay Offices.

Chairman Pilando, Jr. and Commissioner Enad expressed their gratitude to the LGU of Butuan for its generous support to the Commission’s programs and projects. Likewise, Dir. Cheryll P. Elicano also expressed her appreciation and gratitude as the establishment of the PRC ROXIII will ultimately provide better access to PRC Services, to all the transacting public within the region.

Through the collaboration of the PRC’s programs and projects and the City’s long-term overall development framework, the Commission is hopeful that this will bring an opportunity to the professionals and aspiring professionals to experience innovation and service excellence.
