Ruiz, newly appointed CPD council member for Social Workers, formally took their oath before the Professional Regulation Commission on July 14, 2017, held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), 2nd Floor, Delegation Building. Commissioner Yolanda D. Reyes administered their oath and witnessed by Commissioner Angeline T. Chua Chiaco.

Manila, July 18, 2017 - The Professional Regulation Commission announces the inclusion of Hong Kong, as an additional testing center for the September 2017 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 1051, Series of 2017.

The September 2017 LEPT will also be conducted in other countries outside the Philippines including Thailand, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Israel and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Manila, July 17, 2017 - A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), represented by its Chairman Teofilo S. Pilando Jr. together with Commissioners Angeline T. Chua Chiaco and Yolanda D. Reyes and the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), represented by Secretary Rodulfo A. Salalima was signed last June 23, 2017 at The Diamond Hotel Manila.

Manila, July 14, 2017 – Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2017 – 1052, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) extends the schedule of the July 20-21, 2017 Optometrists Practical Examination until July 22, 2017.

The one day extension of the July 2017 Optometrist Practical Examination was allowed to accommodate the one hundred fifty four (154) examinees to complete the examination.

The Optometrist Written Examination will proceed as scheduled on July 17-19, 2017.

Manila, June 30, 2017 – Starting July 1, 2017, all professionals, with the exception of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, Professional Teachers, Registered Nurses and Midwives are required to present earned CPD units before the renewal of Professional Identification Cards.
