The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Announcement: Re-setting of September 2011 Electrical Engineering Licensure Examinations

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that the examination dates for the Electrical Engineering Licensure Examinations have been re-set from September 9 and 10, 2011, Friday and Saturday, to September 10 and 11, 2011 (Saturday and Sunday) for Registered Electrical Engineers (REE); and from September 11 (Sunday) to September 12, 2011 (Monday) for Registered Master Electricians (RME). The examinations will be held simultaneously in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Zamboanga.

In Manila, the examinations will be held at Manuel L. Quezon University-Monzon Hall, R. Hidalgo St., Quiapo, Manila, and University of the East-S. F. Cruz Building and College of Arts and Sciences Building, Claro M. Recto Avenue, Manila.

Examinees who will take the examinations in the regional testing centers are advised to verify their school assignment at the PRC Regional Offices.
