The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Advisory on October 2012 Customs Broker Licensure Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board for Customs Brokers advice examinees for the October 2012 customs brokers examination that ONLY Tariff Book Volume I will be allowed during the examination (January 2009 edition and/or Executive Order No. 61.)

The amendment in the program of the October 2012 Licensure Examination for Customs Brokers is contained in a memorandum issued by the Board for Customs Brokers dated October 19, 2012 as an exception to General Instruction No. 7, “NO OPEN BOOKS IN ALL SUBJECTS” except in Part I – Practical Problems on Classification.

The Customs Brokers Licensure Examination will be held on October 24 and 25, 2012 in the cities of Manila, Cebu and Davao.
