The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Unveiling of Marker and Ceremonial Signing of the Certificate of Acceptance for the PRC ROI Building

Rosales, Pangasinan – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recently held the unveiling of the PRC Regional Office I (PRC ROI) marker and the ceremonial signing of the certificate of acceptance for the regional building on September 24, 2022, at Rosales, Pangasinan.

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Conrado Estrella III was the guest of honor represented by his Executive Assistant, Ms. Charlotte Lasmarias, who accounted PRC ROI building’s construction at the government center in the municipality along with other government offices such as the DOLE, DOE, LTO, among others. Said structure was inaugurated on September 14, 2018, during the term of Chairman Teofilo Pilando Jr. and Commissioners Yolanda Reyes and Jose Cueto through the generous support of Secretary Estrella who was a Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives at that time.

Commissioner Cueto and who was the Acting PRC Chairperson at that time thanked Secretary Estrella for the assistance and congratulated PRC ROI for legally owning already the building necessary in undertaking its management and operations. Meanwhile, Commissioner Enad stressed that having the building, PRC ROI will now be able to continue delivering the services of the Commission not only to residents of Region I but also to those nearby localities of Central Luzon.

The unveiling of the marker was also participated by PRC officers and employees headed by Regional Director Arl Ruth Sacay-Sabelo,  Administrative Service Director Teofilo Sison and PRC CAR Regional Director Juanita Domogen along with Rosales Mayor William Cezar, former San Nicolas Mayor Rebecca Saldivar representing Governor Ramon Guico III, and some officials of the different national line agencies. The unveiling was followed by the ceremonial signing of THE certificate of turn-over and acceptance of the building from DPWH Pangasinan 3rd District Engineering Office represented by Engineer Maria Venus Torio to Commissioner Cueto on behalf of PRC witnessed by Engr. Jose Wilson Manongsong of the DPWH and Commissioner Enad.

The event was made successful under the leadership of the PRC ROI Regional Director, Atty. Arl Ruth Sacay-Sabelo.
