The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Unofficial Facebook Pages Offering PRC Services

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) warns the public of unofficial Facebook pages offering assistance to professionals on the renewal of their Professional Identification Cards (PICs) for a fee, that the same are not in any way related or recognized as partners of PRC to offer any services such as but not limited to the renewal of PICs:

The PRC follows procedures and processes as stated in its Citizen’s Charter and disclaims all representations which are reportedly extended by the said Facebook pages. The transacting public is advised to refer to the PRC Citizen’s Charter posted at the PRC website on the requirements and timelines on the release of relevant documents.

Further, the PRC will continuously take measures to protect the public from false information and services provided by any unauthorized individuals, groups, or entities.
