Manila, Philippines – With much pride and confidence, SM Group of Companies and Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) have been awarded Certificates of Compliance (COC) to RA 7920 Electrical Engineering Law of the PRB of Electrical Engineering.  SM Group of Companies received theirs last January 31, 2023, at MAAX Bldg., SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasig City, while MERALCO accepted theirs last February 2, 2023, at TSB, OSRO Conference Room, MERALCO Compound, Ortigas Avenue, Pasay City.   

Awarding the Certificates of Compliance (COC) were PRB of Electrical Engineering Chaiman Hon. Francis V. Mapile and Member Hon. Jaime V. Mendoza. Further, they were joined by Ms. Nhonha Lie A. Simbre, PRC NCR Regulation Division Chief, and Ms, Lorimel L. Norte.  

The respective officials of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers, Inc. (IIEE) and the PRB of Electrical Engineering accredited organizations were also present during the Awarding Ceremonies.
