Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at: https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/

All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC Robinson’s North Tacloban City Service Center Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Tacloban City, Leyte – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Regional Office VIII – Tacloban, under the leadership of its Regional Director, Mr. Armond M. Englis, successfully held the grand opening of its new Service Center in Robinson’s North, Tacloban City, Leyte last March 4, 2023. The event was graced by the PRC Chairperson Hon. Charito A. Zamora, PRC Commissioner Hon. Erwin M. Enad, Member of Professional Regulatory Board of Interior Design Hon. Maria Carlota D. Hilvano and Undersecretary for Presidential Management Staff Mr. Mark R. Gimenez III. The event was also witnessed by the Mall Operations Manager for Robinson’s North Tacloban, Ms. Lene N. Abarca, Operations Director for Robinson’s North Tacloban Mr. Allen Anthony Armamento, Regional Operations Manager for Robinson’s North Tacloban Ms. Jennifer Puno, Director for The Nustar and External Affairs Floramie Adolfo, heads of various government agencies, Presidents of various Accredited Professional Organizations (APOs), PRC employees and guests.

Chairperson Zamora expressed her gratitude to the managers of Robinsons North Tacloban for the success of this endeavor. “We reach another significant turning point in strengthening our partnership with the Robinsons Land Corporation in bringing the frontline services of the Commission closer to the public. Needless to say, reaching a major milestone like this can only be achieved through incredible collaboration, hard work, and the active support of our partners. I am honored to work alongside this remarkable team. That said, I would like to convey my profound gratitude and appreciation, and to publicly acknowledge the dedication and commitment of the people behind this milestone, whose extraordinary efforts led us to this momentous occasion”, said Chairperson Zamora.

Moreover, Commissioner Erwin M. Enad, the Oversight Commissioner for PRC’s infrastructure development projects, highlighted the partnership Between Robinsons Corporation and PRC. “Today, Robinsons Malls and PRC strengthen their mutual partnership with the establishment of a new PRC service center here in Robinsons North Tacloban. Initially, this new service center is expected to serve as an exclusive hub for clients who are applying for various licensure examinations. In the past, the Regional Office of PRC Tacloban had experienced countless difficulties in accommodating licensure examination applicants in long queues; these long queues often extend beyond the perimeters of the Regional Office and thus result in various complaints. …We hope that PRC remains in partnership with Robinsons Malls, in the mutual interest of serving the professionals in Tacloban City and the entire Eastern Visayas Region,” said Commissioner Enad.

Director Englis also expressed his gratitude to the managers of Robinsons North Tacloban during his closing remarks. “The assistance that you gave our Office is no less than commendable. We look forward to pursuing the delivery of public services within our establishment, with the mutual goal of helping build the brand of Robinsons as a client-focused business”, said Director Englis.

The Service Center is located at the 3rd Level Robinson’s North, Tacloban City, and will be open from Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., and will cater to applications for licensure examinations for various professions. It is expected to serve at least 100-150 clients daily, which will help decongest the volume of applicants transacting in PRC Regional Office VIII.
