The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC RO1 Conducts Mobile Service in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur

CABUGAO, ILOCOS SUR – The Professional Regulation Commission - Regional Office I (PRC RO1), headed by its Regional Director, Atty. Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo, successfully conducted a mobile outreach service at the Municipal Hall of Cabugao, Ilocos Sur last April 23, 2023.

The PRC RO1 Team was able to cater to a total of eight hundred and one (801) transactions of professionals, as well as non-professionals, coming from the province of Ilocos Sur and other nearby provinces. 

The following services were provided to all the clienteles: Application for Licensure Examinations, Initial Registration, Renewal of PRC License, Duplication of Professional Identification Card (PIC), Petition for Change of Status, Correction of Name/Date of Birth, Certification, and Authentication of PRC Documents, and Stateboard Verification.

This undertaking is in pursuit of the PRC’S thrust in bringing its services closer to the community, which will save time, resources, transportation, and other incidental costs of the supposed clients.
