The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC-PRB Secretariat Division in PRC-PICC Temporarily Closed to Walk-In Clients

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the PRB Secretariat Division in Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, shall be temporarily closed to walk-in clients from December 9, 2020, Wednesday to December 11, 2020, Friday.

The said Division will be closed on the said dates to facilitate disinfection of the office premises and to conduct contact tracing among affected personnel and clients. 

To date, one (1) employee in PRC - PRB Secretariat Division tested COVID-19 positive in Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test, this employee is currently under strict quarantine, including those who have known exposure to the confirmed positive case who are still awaiting results of their swab test.

The Commission is strictly implementing all necessary health protocols, pursuant to and consistent with the directives and guidelines of the Department of Health to protect its clients and personnel.

To avoid disruption of services, PRC-PRB Secretariat Division will continue to implement a work-from-home arrangement and shall address concerns and queries of the public through their email addresses: prb.secretariat@prc.gov.ph and/or at prc.prbsec4@gmail.com
