The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC Opens New Service Center in Naga

Naga, Philippines – Dr. Elenita L. Tan, Regional Director of Professional Regulation Commission and Robinsons Land Corporation Operations Director for Luzon, Mr. Irving L. Wu recently led the Inauguration and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the new PRC Service Center at Robinsons Place Naga City last 1 August, 2018. The event was witnessed by representatives from the Commission on Higher Education, Civil Service Commission, Department of Labor and Employment, Office of the City Mayor and PRC Legazpi City employees and clients.

The new office shall be offering the following services:

  1. Application for Various Licensure Examinations
  2. Renewal, Printing and Issuance of Professional Identification Card
  3. Processing of CPD Applications
  4. Initial Registration
  5. Application for Registration Without Examination
  6. Issuance of Certifications and Authentication

The new Service Center is located at 2nd floor, Robinsons Place Naga City and will be open from Mondays to Fridays, from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
