MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006 (s. 2025), August 21, 2026 (Friday) has been declared a Special Non-Working Day throughout the country in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day.

Ninoy Aquino Day commemorates the death anniversary of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr., honoring his life, legacy, and contribution to the nation’s history and democracy.

In observance of this nationwide holiday, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) informs the public that all affected appointments and transactions scheduled on August 21, 2026, will be accommodated and addressed on the next working day, August 24, 2026 (Monday).
