SINGAPORE – Reinforcing the advocacy of the Philippine government to bring various government services closer to the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and Professionals abroad, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) - Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Alagang Serbisyo Caravan 2025 officially kicked-off said event on 15 November 2025 at Hilton Singapore Orchard. In support, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) continued its Foreign Mobile Services (FMS) following its successful FMS held earlier at the Philippine Embassy on 14 November 2025.

The opening of the Caravan was graced by Administrator Patricia Yvonne “PY” Caunan and H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore. Both officials emphasized the government's commitment to bringing essential services closer to OFWs, recognizing their vital role abroad.

With the PRC's FMS, Filipino professionals in Singapore were able to directly access PRC services such as initial registration, license renewal, and issuance of certifications.

During the event, PRC Region II OIC Director Mr. Juan G. Alilam, Jr. also administered the oath of new professionals who passed the June 2025 Special Professional Licensure Examination. The inductees included Nurses, Teachers, Pharmacists, Real Estate Brokers, and other key professions.

By bringing its services to Singapore, the PRC ensures that the credentials of Filipino professionals remain current, safeguarding their eligibility to practice and advancing their careers abroad. The initiative reaffirms the Commission's dedication to supporting the global Filipino workforce.
