Dr. Jose Y. Cueto,Jr., Honorable Oversight Commissioner for PRC Covid-19 Task Force, together with Dr. Eleonor B. Almoro, Honorable Chairperson PRB-Medicine and Dr. Tessie A. Tee, Honorable Chairperson PRB-Nursing, spearheaded the said event.
Dr. Gloriani on her talk eloquently discussed the following relevant topics: differences between SARS-CoV-2 and Covid-19; available vaccines in the country; the need to be vaccinated; vaccine platforms; vaccine development stages; vaccination process, and vaccines clinical trials. Her very interesting presentation was immediately followed by a question-and-answer and ended with a call to fight Covid-19 by responding to the government’s campaign to protect oneself, the family, and the whole community against Corona Virus.
The PRC with its desire to continuously provide mandated services amidst the pandemic earnestly finds effective measures to combat Covid-19, while protecting its people and the public it is bound to serve.
