PRC Brings Vital Services to Filipino Professionals in Singapore
SINGAPORE – 14 November 2025 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC/Commission) has strengthened its support for the Filipino diaspora in Singapore through a successful Foreign Mobile Service (FMS) held at the Philippine Embassy. The initiative, led by PRC Region II OIC Director Mr. Juan G. Alilam, Jr., provided on-the-ground licensing and renewal services, directly assisting Filipino professionals and overseas workers.
The outreach event enabled various Overseas Filipino Professionals to complete their PRC transactions without the need to return to the Philippines, underscoring the Commission's commitment to delivering convenient and efficient public service.
Following the service initiative, the PRC delegation paid a courtesy call to Philippine Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Medardo G. Macaraig. Ambassador Macaraig lauded the PRC's efforts and reaffirmed the Embassy's full support for the "Alagang OWWA OFW Serbisyo Caravan," where the PRC serves as one of the key partners in providing integrated services to the Filipino community abroad.
The Singapore leg marks the second phase of the PRC's ambitious Asia Project 2025, building on the momentum of a recently concluded and highly successful deployment in Hong Kong SAR. The project is a cornerstone of the Commission's broader strategy to expand global access to its services, ensuring that Filipino professionals worldwide remain supported, compliant, and connected to their home country.
