The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC and Its Commitment to Serve (October 2021)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is an organization committed to service with passion and excellence, and in the past months has managed to effectively and efficiently deliver its mandated services through its people’s concerted and collaborative efforts.

Notably, the PRC made the month of October a story of success with its successful  conduct of licensure examinations for Metallurgical Engineers, Chemical Engineer, Fisheries Technologists, Certified Public Accountants, Nutritionists – Dietician, Foresters, Electronics Engineers, Chemists, and Physicians;  oathtaking of the re-appointed Chairperson of the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine, and the virtual oathtaking ceremonies of the new Social Workers, Professional Teachers, Architects, Respiratory Therapists, Sanitary Engineers, Registered Electrical Engineers, Registered Master Electricians, Veterinarians, Real Estate Appraisers, Metallurgical Engineers, Agriculturists, and Criminologists.

In addition, the PRC also witnessed the successful conduct of the 10th Philippine Professional Summit organized by the Philippine Association of Professional Regulatory Boards Incorporated, and the 9th APEC Architect Project Central Council Meeting, where PRC served as the Secretariat. 

The PRC, with its relevant programs, projects, and activities, reiterates its commitment to continue providing quality and excellent services to its clients.
