The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC and Its Commitment to Serve (July 2021)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is an organization committed to service with passion and excellence, and in the past months has managed to effectively and efficiently deliver its mandated services through its people’s concerted and collaborative efforts.

On the month of July the PRC has successfully conducted the Pharmacists, Metallurgical Engineers, and Nurses Licensure Examinations; the oathtaking of the newly appointed Professional Regulatory Boards of Food Technology and Speech Language Pathology, and the virtual oathtaking ceremonies of new professional Real Estate Brokers, Real Estate Appraisers, Real Estate Salespersons, Guidance Counselors, Criminologists, Naval Architects, Aeronautical Engineers, Professional Electrical Engineers, Metallurgical Engineers, Radiologic Technologists and X-ray Technologists, Nurses, Nutritionists and Dietitians, Pharmacists, Fisheries Technologists, and Foresters.
