The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC and Its Commitment to Serve (February 2022)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is an organization committed to service with passion and excellence, and in the past months has managed to effectively and efficiently deliver its mandated services through its people’s concerted and collaborative efforts.

Notably, the PRC made the month of February a story of success with its successful conduct of licensure examinations for Real Estate Consultants, Respiratory Therapists, Psychologists and Psychometricians, Master Plumbers, Social Workers, Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics. The onsite and virtual oathtaking ceremony of the newly appointed Members of the Professional Regulatory Boards for Master Plumbers, Accountancy, Fisheries and CPSP-CATS Chairmen/Chairpersons, as well as the oathtaking ceremonies of the new Professional Teachers, Criminologists, Real Estate Brokers, Real Estate Salespersons, Nutritionists and Dietitians, Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Nurses, Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists, Mining Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Electronics Technicians, Professional Electronics Engineers, Geologists, Agriculturists, Chemists and Chemical Technicians.

In addition, the successful collaboration between PRC and the Philippine Overseas Construction Board (POCB) with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in promoting Filipino ASEAN and APEC Architects through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) also happened in the month of February 2022.

The PRC, with its relevant programs, projects, and activities, reiterates its commitment to continue providing quality and excellent services to its clients.
