The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Multi-purpose Building for PRC Regional Office XII to rise in Koronadal City

Koronadal, South Cotabato –Hon. Erwin M. Enad, PRC Commissioner II and Oversight for Physical Infrastructure, led the groundbreaking and site dedication ceremony of the multi-purpose building of PRC Regional Office XII.

This 7-story building will soon rise within the 1,000 square meters of land at the entrance of the Prime Regional Government Center in Koronadal City. This building will serve as an examination venue and will cater to approximately 1,000 examinees.

“This construction of a multi-purpose and testing center is a response to the increasing and growing number of aspiring professionals and professionals of this region”, Commissioner Enad said in his speech. He also conveyed his sincere gratitude to the local officials of the City Government of Koronadal headed by City Mayor Eliordo U. Ogena for the untiring support given to the commission.

“The purpose of putting up this building is really to make life easier or less difficult for the professionals and aspiring professionals and in the process PRC and LGU of Koronadal become effective partners in pursuit of goals of national development and social progress” he added.
