The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

January 2010 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination results released

The Professional Regulation Commission announces that 33 applicants were approved for registration without examination as Guidance Counselors after compliance with Section 14, Article III of R.A. 9258 (Guidance and Counseling Act of 2004), and Section 14, Rule III of Resolution No. 02 Series of 2007 (Rules and Regulations of the Guidance and Counseling of 2004), per Board Res. No. 01 dated January 12, 2010, Series of 2010.

The members of the Board of Guidance and Counseling are Lily Rosqueta-Rosales, Chairman; and Luzviminda S. Guzman, Member.
