The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at:

All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Invitation to the Information Session on PH Construction Industry Moving Through the Crisis – Manila Leg on November 04, 2022

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) invites interested professionals to the Philippine Overseas Construction Board’s (POCB) upcoming Information Session entitled “PH Construction Industry Moving Through the Crisis – Manila Leg” which will be held on November 04, 2022, 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 NN., at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay, Metro Manila at the sidelines of PHILCONSTRUCT Manila.

The information session shall include discussions on ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) including its overview, current statistical data, benefits and challenges, and its impact on the construction, and related engineering services sector.

Aligned with the Professional, Skills, and Productivity Upgrading Action Plan of the Philippine Construction Industry Roadmap 2020-2030, the session shall take advantage of the presence of architects and engineers at PHILCONSTRUCT to create awareness and provide understanding and appreciation on the ASEAN Architect Registry (AAR), APEC Architect Register (AA), and ACPE to encourage more registration to the Registry to further the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the POCB and PRC ASEAN Monitoring Committee on Architectural Services of the Philippines (AMCASP) and ASEAN Monitoring Committee on Engineering Services for the Philippines (AMCESP).
