The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Face-to-Face Oathtaking of new Professional Teachers in Pampanga

The first face-to-face oathtaking of new Professional Teachers, since the pandemic, was held on February 11, 2023, at Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The oath of professional teachers was administered by the Chairperson of the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Professional Teachers, Hon. Rosita L. Navarro. A total of 4,748 passers were inducted on the said date.

The Board recognized the presence of persons with disabilities and medically handicapped inductees who successfully passed the Licensure Examination of Professional Teachers last October 2, 2022. The Board was also enthused by the mother and daughter tandem of Mrs. Ana Retchelda M. Mabilog (standing, second from the left) and Ms. Faith Anne M. Mabilog (seated in front, in yellow dress) who are now both Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs).
