The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at: https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/

All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Delivery of Renewed PRC PIC Within Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan

The Professional Regulation Commission – Region IV-B (MIMAROPA), in partnership with the Wide Wide World Express Corporation (W Express), will be providing its clientele the option to have their renewed Professional Identification Card (PIC) delivered to their homes starting August 2022.

The delivery service will be available initially with the renewal services requiring the online submission of the CPD undertaking. To avail of the delivery service, clients must transact the renewal of their PIC through the PRC website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/, confirm the online CPD undertaking, and choose the option for shipping.

With the delivery services made available, client-professionals within Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan will no longer have to go to PRC Offices to claim their cards as they now have the option to have them delivered to their homes or delivery addresses at their convenience.

For queries and concerns, you may email PRC Region IV-B at ro4b@prc.gov.ph.
