Laoag City, Ilocos Norte  - The Professional Regulatory Board of Geodetic Engineers, through the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Council of Geodetic Engineering, successfully hosted the first Mass CPD Accreditation System (CPDAS) enrolment of the officers and members of the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines (GEP) in their Annual Regional Convention & Election of Officers with the theme “GEODETIC ENGINEERS: DOing its MIssion moviNG for its vision, and gOing through its Road Map” in Sola Hotel, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte last February 25, 2023.

Hon. Chairman Epifanio D. Lopez and Hon. Member Randolf S. Vicente of the PRB of Geodetic Engineering served as resource speakers with special topics on Geodetic Engineering updates. A presentation about CPD Information Dissemination Updates and other CPD-related sub-topics/updates was discussed by Ms. Babylinda O. Reyes, Chief of the Regulation Division Chief of PRC Regional Office I. The video presentation about the CPDAS entitled “EASY SA CPDAS”   was also played providing an actual demonstration of the enrolment process. A brief Question-and-Answer portion followed thereafter.

CPDAS enables CPD Providers and registered professionals to encode personal information, upload documentary requirements and submit the application online and even provide for payment accreditation/application options through various payment channels leading to an accurate and reliable system of reporting for transparency and a basis for management planning and decision making.

Everyone is highly encouraged to use CPDAS which is now directly linked to the Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS), providing a 24/7 online accreditation management system for CPD Providers, CPD Programs, and Self-Directed Learning and other CPD activities of professionals.
