The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Announcement: Publication of Invitation to Applicants for the Position of Chairman/Member of the Professional Regulatory Boards of Aeronautical Engineering and Professional Teachers

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 496 (1991) and PRC Resolution No. 2016 – 997 (2016), the Professional Regulation Commission (Commission) invites qualified applicants to fill up the vacancies in the following Professional Regulatory Boards without current Accredited Professional Organization (APO)/Accredited Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO):

  1. Aeronautical Engineering (Presidential Decree No. 1570)
    • One (1) Member
  2. Professional Teachers (Republic Act No. 7836)
    • One (1) Member

Interested parties may submit applications to the Commission through the PRB Screening Unit located at Room D211, 2nd Floor Delegation Building, Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City, within forty-five (45) days from the date of this publication.
