Revised Guidelines on the Processing of Applications for Accreditation of CPD Providers and their CPD Programs

To ensure coherence of the existing procedures in the processing of applications for accreditation of CPD providers and their CPD programs with R.A. No. 11032, or the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018”, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public of the recently issued Revised Guidelines on the Processing of Applications of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) providers and their CPD programs effective March 01, 2025.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) together with the Legal Legislative Affairs of the Department of Education (DepEd) is requesting comments, input, and recommendations, if any, from the relevant stakeholders and interested parties on the draft Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 12080, “Basic Education Mental Health and Well-Being Promotion Act”.

Advisory: Exam Application Guidelines for Graduates of CoPC – Exempt SUCs and LUCs

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reiterates its strict implementation of the CHED-PRC Memorandum Circular No. 01 (s. 2010). Thus, graduates of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) with no CHED authority to operate board programs and Certificate of Program Compliance (CoPC) shall not be admitted by PRC for licensure examination.

Extending the Deadline for the Filing of Application for the April 2025 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the deadline for the filing of applications for the April 2025 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination (CELE) is extended from February 11, 2025 to March 11, 2025.

All required documents for the filing of application to take the licensure examination must be submitted to the Commission on or before March 11, 2025.

To ascertain the authenticity and validity of the Special Power of Attorney (SPA) and Authorization Letter, and not to expose the professionals' data or personal information to a person or individual whose authority to represent them is not duly determined, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the additional requirement of a SPA or Authorization Letter to be submitted by the representative of concerned professionals shall be accepted only in its ORIGINAL FORM.
